Bio

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Since 2015 i have worked for NORDAM Transparencies as a Manufacturing Engineer. My duties have included the oversight of several production lines including wingtip lens, helicopter window, airplane cabin window, and flight simulator screens. For each of these production lines, I have been responsible for the planning and implementation of new and legacy parts, as well as input on and design of tooling and components.

For work, I have designed tools for the assembly of production parts. For fun, I have designs for 3D printer parts, varieties of form tools for small casting of personal projects.

I practice CAD design, 3D printing, matlab programming, and blacksmithing when I have some free time. The CAD design feeds directly to the 3D printing, while the matlab programming is excellent for design analysis. The blacksmithing is for stress relief.

While I contractually cannot show any of the designs or processes I have done at work, I do have several designs which i have created from CAD to prototype.

Most projects are small and test out the 3D printer I have and regularly modify. Some are a bit more complex in form (hinged boxes with high contour edges or scale ship models), but still test out the printer. The real projects I have require the last of my issues with the printer to be resolved before I begin on them but will enjoy a breadth of mechanical systems. To see my projects follow the linkbelow.
